    Associate Professor Ang Seng Bin was appointed a director of SATA CommHealth in February 2023. He chairs the Programme, Services & Medical Committee (since 20 June 2023) and is a member of Binjai Advisory Committee.

    Current/Past Occupation

    A/Prof Ang Seng Bin is a Family Physician, Senior Consultant,  Family Medicine Service and Head of Menopause Unit of KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). A/Prof Ang has been active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and his research interests include osteoporosis, menopause, sexual health, healthcare innovations as well as dermatology. 

    His involvement in healthcare technology included his past role as Clinical Lead, Future Primary Care in Ministry of Health (Singapore) Office of Healthcare Transformation (MOHT), looking at telehealth solutions for the primary care as well as technology enablers for integration of care between health, social and community care sectors.

    He is the inventor and founder of DermacoolTM, a wet wrap garment that has been proven to be effective in the management of moderate to severe eczema.

    Current/Past experiences with Charities/Corporates

    A/Prof Ang has been an active member of various local and international societies. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and General Secretary, International Menopause Society, Immediate Past President of Asian Federation of Osteoporosis Societies, President of Menopause Research Society (Singapore) and President of Osteoporosis Society Singapore. He has also been an invited speaker at many international conferences on topics relating to osteoporosis and menopause.

    His voluntary work in the community includes Chairman, Board of Directors AMKFSC Community Services Ltd; Board Member, Agency for Integrated Care; Board Member, ToteBoard; Board of advisor, Mind Science Centre; Chairman, SUSS IRB (HBRA).
