Electrocardiography

Electrocardiography (ECG) is a simple and non-invasive procedure where your heart’s electrical impulses are recorded.

The record, an electrocardiogram provides information about the part of the heart that triggers each heartbeat, the nerve conduction pathways of the heart, and the rate and rhythm of the heart.

Heart disorders such as an abnormal heart rhythm, previous heart attacks and an enlarged heart can be detected. The test takes approximately five to ten minutes to do.
