With great pleasure we extend a warm welcome to all of you to join us in the conference on HERE TO CARE for the Health of Migrant Workers 2024 on 26 September 2024 at Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore! This conference serves as a pivotal platform for us to come together, share insights, and engage in meaningful discussions aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of migrant workers. Through collaborative efforts and exchanges of innovative ideas, we aspire to create concrete solutions that effectively address the unique healthcare challenges faced by this vital workforce.

We are honoured to be joined by experts, policymakers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and stakeholders in this important endeavour. We are inviting you to be part of the transformative event to immerse in enriched discussions, gain diverse perspectives and explore research outcomes which will undoubtedly contribute to positive outcomes and advancement of migrant workers’ health.

Since April 2022, SATA CommHealth, alongside three other anchor operators, has been appointed to operate medical centres in six strategic geographical locations across Singapore. These centres have been meticulously designed to be pandemic-ready, ensuring the provision of holistic healthcare to migrant workers.

In response to a mandatory requirement by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), employers hiring migrant workers from the Construction, Manufacturing, or Process (CMP) sectors are mandated to purchase a Primary Care Plan (PCP) for their workers. The PCP aims to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services closer to the residences of the workers, thereby enhancing their overall well-being. The plan encompasses a wide range of services, including acute and chronic consultations, statutory medical examinations, annual health screenings, and treatment for simple procedures such as wound dressing, removal of foreign bodies, toilet and suturing, and x-ray services.

Over the past 24 months, SATA CommHealth has embarked on a captivating journey of setting up five medical centres from scratch, serving three out of the six regional zones in Singapore. Through our dedication and commitment, we have strived to ensure that migrant workers receive the highest standard of healthcare services, tailored to meet their unique needs.

The conference will serve as a platform to showcase the innovative initiatives, best practices, and impactful outcomes achieved in the provision of healthcare for migrant workers. It will feature insightful discussions, keynote presentations, and interactive sessions led by esteemed industry experts and thought leaders.
Join us as we come together to address and explore strategies to enhance the quality of care and promote their well-being.
